Hoppin' in the beast tommorrow for the trek up to Moab for a week of whatever comes to mind. I've loaded up the iPod with many of your earlier recommendations and look forward to hearing some new stuff as I travel through God's country. Just wanted to thank those that made some suggestions and actually kept on topic the entire time. I can only hope that the current state of things around here continues in the same vein as it does today.
I will raise a glass to all of my friends here (and friends to be, hopefully) as I watch sunset over the magnficent natural arch bridges and the meandering Green River.

May the four winds blow you safely home

Eventhough you're already gone---have a great time! I envy you----only been thru Moab once (fall of '99 on 2 week solo backpacking tour of Arches & Zion) & God's country it is. There's nothing like that high-desert air, light, and deafening silence to sooth the soul.

Thanks. I'll definitely put up a picture or two here (and maybe the "other" place as well)at least.

Drive safe! Thought about you while reading about some of the bad accidents the past few days off SR 89 and thereabouts in northern AZ and southern UT...they can be dangerous. Keep your eyes open, and don't overdue the driving just to 'get there' (or back) quicker...

Enjoy!
